Step 1: Drilling. Use the corresponding drill bit included in the kit to drill the hole. Pay close attention to the drilling angle, and use compressed air to blow out the chips generated during the process.

Step 2: Tapping. Use the specialized tap to cut the threads; the tapping depth must exceed the installation length of the wire thread insert. After tapping, use a compressed air gun to blow any debris out of the threaded hole. If high thread precision is required, use a specialized thread plug gauge for wire thread inserts to inspect the tapped hole.

Step 3: Installation. Place the wire thread insert into the installation tool, ensuring the insert's tang (installation tail) is seated within the guide slot of the tool. Rotate the handle of the installation tool to screw the insert into the threaded hole. Note: During the installation process, *do not* apply any downward axial pressure; doing so may cause cross-threading or thread skipping. The correct method is to screw the insert in slowly, following the direction of the threads.

Step 4: Tang Removal (Breaking Off the Installation Tail). Use the specialized tang break-off tool to snap off the installation tail. Strike the break-off tool sharply with a hammer to remove the tail. *Do not* attempt to remove the tang by rotating the installation tool in the reverse direction; this practice is highly likely to create burrs at the fracture point or even cause the wire insert to be pulled out of the hole.
