🔧Core role and use

  The core role of this tool is to provide a set of plumx sleeves with drop-prevention and efficient anti-slip characteristics for 1/2-inch driving tools for safe and efficient disassembly of bolts and nuts of a range of size.​​

Its main application scenarios include:

1.Car repair and maintenance: This is the main use. Commonly used for removal and installation:

---Wheel bolts/nuts: This is the most typical application, and the E-lock effectively prevents the sleeve from falling off the wrench when applying force.

---Chassis components: such as ball joints of suspension systems, connecting rod bolts.

---Engine parts: such as spark plug, cylinder head bolt (with extension lever and torque wrench).

---Transmission fixing bolts, etc.

2.Mechanical equipment installation and maintenance: Used for fastening and dismantling bolts of factory assembly line equipment and large electromechanical equipment.

3.Heavy work: Compared with 1/4"and 3/8" drives, 1/2"drives can withstand greater torque and is suitable for work scenarios requiring greater strength.

Main characteristics and advantages

1.Anti-fall (E-type locking): Through the steel ball locking mechanism, the sleeve and the adapter rod/wrench are very firmly connected, which is especially suitable for operation above the head or in a position that is difficult to observe, greatly improving safety and convenience.

2.Anti-slip and protective bolts (pattern/plumx design): Compared with ordinary hexagonal sleeves, the bolt head has better coating and lower unit pressure, which can effectively avoid bolt corners caused by excessive force or bolt rust. Wear (round).

  Precautions for use

1.Distinguish between positive and negative: The E-type sleeve is directional and is usually printed with "ON" to indicate the locking direction. Pay attention when installing, otherwise it cannot be locked or difficult to remove.

 

2.Matching use: Must be used with a 1/2-inch drive adapter or ratchet wrench that also supports E-locking. Ordinary ungrooved connecting rods cannot be locked tightly.

 

3.Cleaning the lock core: If dust or sludge enters the steel ball locking mechanism, it may cause poor locking and needs to be cleaned regularly.

 

4.Torque matching: Although the 1/2"drive can withstand high torque, you still need to be careful not to exceed the torque limit of the tool itself. It is strictly prohibited to use the extension tube to tighten hard.
