On October 29, the 10th "Liyu Cup" Shandong Hardware Industry Skills Competition was held in Weihai Liyu Industry Co., Ltd. Liu Yi, an investigator of Shandong Light Textile Trade Union Committee, Li Yao, Minister, Li Xiude, Deputy Director of Shandong Light Industry Federation, Wang Peng, an investigator, and Yu Heli, Executive Chairman of Shandong Hardware and Weighing Apparatus Industry Association attended the opening ceremony. Yu Jinshan, the chairman of Weihai Liyu Industrial Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, hoping that the technicians participating in the competition could give play to the innovative culture and craftsmanship spirit and forge more high-quality products with their ingenuity.
This competition is one of the 2021 professional skills competitions of Shandong Light Industry Federation, sponsored by Shandong Light Textile Trade Union Committee and Shandong Light Industry Federation, undertaken by Shandong Hardware and Weighing Industry Association, and co sponsored by Weihai Liyu Industry Co., Ltd. This vocational skills competition aims to speed up the construction of a large contingent of skilled and innovative skilled workers, promote the spirit of model workers and craftsmen, provide a strong guarantee for the construction of a highly skilled talent team and the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in our province, and promote the transformation and upgrading of our industry.
The final consists of two parts: theoretical examination and practical competition. In this regard, the company organized special personnel to conduct special training on forging theory and operation for contestants and relevant technical workers. Through preliminary selection, more than 60 players from forging and heat treatment industries entered the final. Through this competition, we accelerated the construction of a highly skilled and high-quality team of Shandong hardware industry workers, set off a strong atmosphere of learning and catching up, further mobilized the front-line workers to learn technology, practice skills and improve quality, and stimulated the innovative vitality of technicians.
