Precautions for use

In order to ensure measurement accuracy and good service life of the tool, please note when using:

1.Light insertion and handling: Use gently. It is forbidden to forcibly insert or withdraw the feeler gauge into the gap to avoid damaging the measuring surface of the feeler gauge or causing it to bend or break.

2.Keep it clean: It is best to wipe the feeler gauge with a soft cloth before and after use to keep it clean to prevent dirt from affecting the measurement accuracy or scratching the surface of the workpiece. Although stainless steel is resistant to corrosion, good maintenance can extend life.

3.Combined use: When the thickness of a single gauge is not enough to match the gap, you can try to combine several feelers together (for example, stacking two pieces of 0.10mm and 0.05mm together to measure the 0.15mm gap). However, it should be noted that superimposed use may introduce cumulative errors, and ensure that the superposition is smooth.

4.Storage properly: After use, it is best to put it back into a special protective box or sleeve to avoid bumping or bending when mixed with other tools.
