  Rubber hammer is a non-metallic hand hammer. Its core design concept is to provide impact force while minimizing damage to the hitting surface. It takes advantage of the unique elasticity and relatively soft characteristics of rubber materials to gently transmit power.

 

Core role and design concept

1.Flexible impact: Unlike the "rigid" impact of a hammer, the rubber hammer produces a "flexible" impact. It can effectively transmit power and complete tasks such as knocking, tightening, and correction, but at the same time it absorbs part of the reaction force, reduces rebound vibration, and protects hands.

2.Protect the surface of the workpiece: This is the core value of rubber hammers. The hardness of rubber is much lower than that of metal, stone, wood and other materials, so it will not leave hammer marks, scratches or dents when knocking, and will not damage the smoothness or surface treatment of the workpiece (such as paint, coating).

3.Fire sparkles: Rubber materials will not produce sparks during impact, making them safer in situations where explosion-proof is needed.

Rubber hammers are extremely widely used, covering almost all occasions where "gentle power" is needed:

​​1. Building materials installation and decoration (the most classic uses)

Paying floors/floor tiles: Used to knock on the tongue of wood floors, composite floors, and plastic floors to make them tightly spliced; it can also be used to slightly adjust the position of tiles and marble, and fully combine them with adhesive, never smash tiles.

Installation of doors and windows: When installing door frames and window frames, a wedge used to adjust the position and knock in the plug seam without leaving any traces on the surface of the profile.

Knocking stone: Install cultural stones, threshold stones, etc.

 

​​2. Woodworking and furniture assembly

Tenon and mortise structure assembly: When assembling furniture and wood products, it is used to knock the tenons into the mortise holes. The flexibility of rubber can protect the surface of the wood and avoid holes being smashed by a hammer.

Adjust plate position: Tap the board slightly to align it.

 

​​3. Sheet metal processing and automobile maintenance

Sheet metal reshaping: Used to flatten depressions in car bodies or other metal plates. Due to its softness, it will not leave hard hammer marks on the metal surface, which is convenient for subsequent polishing.

Installation parts: Install parts that need to be knocked in but are fragile, such as bearings, sealing rings, tire sleeves, etc.

Equipment in place: Gently tap the foundation or body of large equipment to make minor position adjustments.

Belt/drive belt installation: Tap the pulley to help install the belt in place.

Tap the tent nail: It will not damage the metal head of the nail.

Assemble items: Install furniture, toys, supplies, etc. that need to be knocked. They are the "safety guards" in the home toolbox.

    Precautions for use

1.Clean the hammer head: Make sure the hammer head is clean and free of embedded sand, metal chips and other hard objects, otherwise these hard objects will scratch the surface of the workpiece when knocking.

 

2.Differential use: For tasks that require huge knocking force (such as demolition and gouging), rubber hammers are not suitable, and steel hammers or sledgehammers should be chosen.

 

3.Avoid contact with chemicals: Rubber may age and deform when exposed to oils for a long time.

Storage environment: Avoid long-term exposure or exposure to high temperature to prevent rubber aging, sticking and cracking
