1. Core role (three core functions)
1.preset torque lock
The target torque value is set through mechanical structures (such as adjusting screws, spring pre-tightening). When the actual torque reaches the preset value during tightening, mechanical feedback (such as pawl slip, handle vibration,"click" sound) will be triggered. Force stop torque transmission and prevent over-tightening from the physical level.
2.Quantification of basic torque
Compared with ordinary wrenches that operate "by hand", mechanical torque wrenches visually mark the torque value (mostly in N·m, kgf·cm, lbf·in) through a dial (pointer type) or scale lines (preset type) to realize The quantifiable control of torque meets the accuracy requirements of most scenarios (no digital display is required).
3.Adapt to multi-scene fastening
The structure is simple and durable. It can be matched with different specifications of sleeves, plum heads, and open heads. It supports positive and negative operations (both tightening/loosening bolts can be used). It is resistant to impact and oil pollution. It is suitable for complex environments such as outdoor and workshop, and does not require charging or battery maintenance.
2. Subdividing purposes (classified by industry/scenario)
1. Car repair and maintenance (most common scenario)
Daily maintenance: when replacing tires, tighten the hub nuts (avoid loosening or over-screwing damage to the hub bearings during driving), fix the brake caliper bolts and suspension parts (swing arms and shock absorbers), and meet the basic torque standards of automobile manufacturers.
Engine basic maintenance: oil pan bolts, water pump fixing bolts, intake manifold bolts tightened to avoid over-tightening caused by shell deformation or seal damage (except for cylinder head bolts and crankshaft bolts with high precision requirements, usually digital display or hydraulic wrench).
Agricultural machinery/engineering machinery maintenance: tractor, excavator, loader and other equipment chassis, engine peripheral parts maintenance, outdoor work without power supply, adapt to harsh environment.
2. Industrial production and mechanical assembly
General machinery manufacturing: Base bolts, couplings, and bearing end caps of machine tools, fans, water pumps and other equipment are fixed to ensure that parts are not loose when the equipment is running, taking into account installation efficiency and basic accuracy.
Home appliances/hardware production: Fasten washing machine motor fixing bolts, air conditioning compressor base bolts, furniture (solid wood furniture, metal furniture) assembly bolts to avoid cracking of plastic/wood parts due to over-tightening.
Low-voltage electrical equipment: The internal wiring terminals of the distribution cabinet and distribution box are fastened (moderate torque can prevent the wiring from loosening and heating), and the motor junction box is fixed with bolts to meet the basic specifications for electrical installation.
3. Construction and infrastructure projects
Steel structure foundation installation: Steel structure connecting bolts (non-high-strength core bolts) of factories, warehouses, and simple bridges are tightened and constructed according to the design torque value to ensure structural stability.
Pipeline and HVAC installation: Tighten the flange connecting bolts of water pipes and heating pipes, and valve fixing bolts to avoid water leakage/leakage due to insufficient torque, or damage to flange gaskets due to excessive tightening.
Decoration project: Fixing bolts for ceiling keel, installation bolts for sanitary equipment (toilets, washbasins), and fixing door and window hardware (hinges, door locks), taking into account installation firmness and decorative surface integrity (to avoid over-tightening and damaging walls/plates).
4. Agricultural machinery and agricultural production
The engine peripheral components, chassis transmission systems, and farm tool connection points (such as plowshares and seeders) of agricultural machinery such as tractors, harvesters, etc. are bolted to adapt to the field outdoor working environment and are resistant to dust and vibration.
Daily maintenance of agricultural machinery maintenance stations: When agricultural machinery is disassembled and reassembled, ensure that the torque at key connection points meets the standard to avoid parts falling off during operation.
5. Equipment maintenance and overhaul
Equipment maintenance in the factory workshop: The conveyor belt roller bearing bolts, reducer fixing bolts, and air compressor base bolts are tightened and used for re-inspection of bolt torque during regular inspections (to prevent loosening after long-term operation).
Ship/port equipment: The peripheral components of ship deck machinery (winches, windmills) and auxiliary structures of port cranes are bolted to adapt to the high-humidity and high-salt environment of the ocean (the corrosion resistance of the mechanical structure is better than that of electronic components).
6. Other basic scenarios
DIY and home repair: furniture assembly, bicycle/electric vehicle repair (crank bolts, hub nut tightening), small home appliances (electric fans, microwave ovens) repair to meet the torque control needs of individuals or small workshops.
Teaching and practical training: Practical training teaching in vocational colleges (major in automobile repair and machinery) is used to explain the principle of torque control. The structure is simple and easy to understand, and is suitable for novice operation and practice.
