The three-in-one battery tester is a professional testing equipment compatible with three voltage systems: 6V, 12V, and 24V. It covers the battery testing needs of different models and equipment through integrated design. Its core advantages are:
Voltage compatibility: Support unified testing of 6V (such as small agricultural machinery), 12V (family vehicles), and 24V (heavy trucks/construction machinery) batteries;

1. Health diagnosis of battery in multi-voltage system
6V battery applications:
Test the capacity attenuation of 6V battery of small agricultural machinery (such as tractors, lawnmowers) and garden tools (such as generators)(such as a battery with a nominal 35Ah, prompt replacement when the measured capacity is less than 25Ah);
Battery maintenance for 6V electrical systems in older vehicles (such as classic models).
12V battery applications:
Internal resistance detection of 12V battery for household vehicles and motorcycles (internal resistance of new battery is 2-5mΩ, after aging>10mΩ), starting voltage stability evaluation (voltage at starting ≥9.5V);
Monitoring the charging and discharging status of 12V energy storage batteries for RV and Yacht (such as capacity recovery after solar charging).
24V battery applications:
Battery consistency test for 24V systems such as heavy trucks, excavators, cranes, etc.(dual 12V batteries are connected in series)(it is normal that the internal resistance difference between the two batteries is ≤10%);
Cold starting current (CCA) test for 24V starting batteries of ships and railway locomotives (such as a battery with nominal CCA 800A, the actual measurement needs to be ≥ 640A).

Prediction of starting the family car:
Test the CCA value of the 12V battery in winter (such as the nominal value is 550A, and the actual measurement is less than 400A, indicating the risk of starting in winter) to avoid low-temperature anchoring;
Engineering equipment reliability guarantee:
Test the discharge capacity of the 24V system battery pack in a- 20℃ environment to ensure the starting stability of mine trucks and polar operation equipment;
Emergency power supply testing:
Evaluate the actual capacity of the 6V/12V emergency starting power supply (such as the nominal capacity is 10000mAh and the measured discharge capacity is ≥8000mAh).
3. Charging system and electrical troubleshooting
Multi-voltage charging detection:
12V system: The charging voltage of the generator should be 13.5-14.5V, and the 24V system should be 27- 29V. If the voltage is abnormal (such as the charging voltage of the 12V system is 15V), it will indicate that the voltage regulator has failed;
Cross-voltage leakage detection:
Measure the static current after the vehicle is turned off (12V system <50mA, 24V system <100mA), and locate the leakage point of the 6V/12V/24V electrical system (such as equipment installation, sensor failure).
4. Compatible with special battery types
Start and stop battery testing:
Identify the 12V AGM/EFB start-stop battery (low internal resistance, about 1.5-3mΩ) and evaluate its deep cycle life (it is recommended to replace it when the health level is less than 70%);
Multiple battery pack management:
Carry out balance test on dual 12V batteries in 24V systems (voltage difference <0.1V, internal resistance difference <1mΩ) to avoid aging of a single battery dragging down the overall performance.

Maintenance of multiple fleet models:
When the logistics fleet has both 12V light trucks and 24V heavy trucks, the three-in-one detector can uniformly detect batteries with different voltages, reducing the types of tools;
Cross-equipment maintenance:
Construction machinery maintenance personnel can use one equipment to test the batteries of excavators (24V), welding machines (12V), and lawn mowers (6V) to improve efficiency.
3. Usage process and precautions
Voltage mode selection:
Select 6V/12V/24V mode according to the battery type being tested after booting up (24V systems need to confirm that the batteries are in series);
Connect the positive and negative electrode clips of the detector (red to positive electrode, black to negative electrode), and the 24V system needs to confirm that they are clamped on the main positive and negative electrodes.
Safe operation across voltage:
When testing the 24V system, avoid touching the positive and negative electrodes with both hands at the same time to prevent electric shock;
If the voltage of the 6V battery is less than 5V (deep power loss), it needs to be charged first and then tested to avoid damaging the battery in the high-current load test.
Application skills for special scenarios:
Balancing of 24V battery pack: Test the internal resistance and voltage of two 12V batteries separately. If the difference exceeds 10%, it is recommended to charge or replace them separately;
6V battery repair: For 6V batteries with high internal resistance (such as 10mΩ), you can try pulse repair mode (supported by some detectors) to restore plate activity.
