240 Ratchet-type cable bolt cutter is a professional manual tool used to quickly and labor-saving cut off various copper and aluminum cables, armored cables and communication cables in power construction.Its core feature is that it uses a ratchet or gear force amplifier, which gradually advances the blade by pressing the handle multiple times, and finally cuts off the cable. It is labor-saving to operate and can handle larger wire diameters.

              🔧Main uses and characteristics

  1.Cutting object: mainly used to cut copper and aluminum core cables and armored cables (such as cables with a diameter of 3×240mm² or less than 95mm) and communication cables (up to 3600 pairs).

 

  2.Special note: This type of tool is strictly prohibited to be used to cut steel cables such as steel wire ropes, steel-core aluminum strands, and steel strands, otherwise the blade may be damaged.

 

  3.Labor-saving design: Ratchet or gear mechanism converts small manual pressure into strong shearing force, making shearing of large-diameter cables easier

 

  4.Easy to operate: Usually designed to be operated with one hand, some models of pliers arms are retractable (for example, XLJ-S-240 can reach 555mm long after extension) to adapt to different operating spaces and provide better leverage.

 

  5.Safe and efficient: The ratchet mechanism can advance at a constant speed to prevent slippage, ensure safe operation, and improve work efficiency.

1.Use beyond the range is strictly prohibited: Be sure to distinguish whether the tool is used to cut copper and aluminum cables or steel cables (such as steel wire ropes, steel strands). Using the wrong type may cause the blade to crack or damage

2.Keep the tool clean: Especially for special models of shearing wire ropes, keep the gear clean after use to ensure its normal operation

3.Select the right model: Select the matching model based on the cable type (copper aluminum/steel core), cross-section and diameter being frequently cut
