1. Overview of core functions

 

The 100MM steel wire round brush forms a cylindrical brush head by densely wound steel wire bundles. It uses the mechanical friction force during high-speed rotation to clean, polish, deburring and other treatments on the surface of the object. It is suitable for surface processing of metal, wood, stone and other materials., especially suitable for refined operations of complex contours or gaps.

 

 

2. Specific functions and application scenarios

 

1. metal surface treatment

 

Derusting and peeling:

It is used to remove thick rust layers on metal surfaces such as steel structures, pipes, and automobile parts, such as derusting pretreatment of ship steel plates in shipyards, or cleaning rusty bolts and gears during mechanical maintenance.

 

Weld and burr treatment:

Go deep into the welding gap to polish slag and spatters, or remove sharp burrs on the edges of stamped parts. For example, after the pressure vessel is welded, a round brush is used to clean the dead corners inside the weld to improve sealing; after sheet metal processing, the flash edges of the hole edge are chamfered.

 

Coating peeling:

Remove old paint, plating, or anti-corrosion coatings, such as removing old paint during renovation of car casings, or surface pretreatment before recoating industrial equipment.

 

2. Processing of wood and non-metallic materials

Wood surface refinement:

Polishing grooves and carved details on solid wood furniture, or removing bark residues and burrs from wood surfaces, such as edge polishing on wood carving crafts, or rounding on wooden stair railings.

 

Stone and concrete cleaning:

Remove cement residue and moss from stone surface, or roughen the rough surface of concrete components (enhance adhesion of subsequent coatings), such as renovation and cleaning of stone walls of ancient buildings.

 

3. industrial equipment maintenance

Deep cleaning of mechanical parts:

Clean up oil, carbon deposits or dust on complex structural parts such as gears, chains, and radiators, such as cleaning cylinder head grooves during engine disassembly and maintenance, or removing fiber residues on the surface of rollers in textile machinery.

 

Treatment of inner walls of pipes and holes:

Extend into pipes with matching diameters (such as pipe diameters below 100mm) or holes, and polish the rust or dirt on the inner wall, such as rust removal on the inner wall of oil pipes and cleaning ventilation pipes.

 

4. Art and handicraft creation

Material texture manufacturing:

Rough texture is formed by friction on metal sculptures, leather products or wood, such as the treatment of the surface of an art installation, or the matte texture processing of the edges of handmade leather goods.

 

Special styling polishing:

Apply and polish irregular surfaces such as arcs and circles, such as uniform polishing of the outer surface of metal rings and ceramic utensils.

 

3.precautions for use

Safety protection: You must wear goggles and gloves to keep away from the direction of rotation to avoid breaking and splashing of steel wires;

Material matching: Hard steel wire (such as carbon steel) is not suitable for soft materials such as aluminum alloy and plastic. Stainless steel wire or copper wire brush can be optional;

 

Speed control: It is recommended to be 8,000 - 12,000 revolutions per minute for metal surfaces, and reduce it to below 5000 revolutions per minute for wood or soft materials;

 

Loss maintenance: Regularly check whether the steel wire bundle is loose. If local falls off or deforms, the brush head needs to be replaced in time.

Installation interface: Install it on angle grinder, electric grinder, lathe and other equipment through M14 thread, chuck (such as electric drill) or connecting rod;

 

Auxiliary accessories: Use with vacuum cleaners to reduce metal dust pollution, or use coolant to reduce heat generated by high-speed friction.
