1. Core role

Mechanical friction is carried out on the surface of the object through high-speed rotating steel wire bundles to achieve surface treatments such as cleaning, polishing, and deburring. It is suitable for pretreatment or fine processing of metals, wood and other materials.

 

 

2. Working methods

 

Installation method: Install it on rotating tools such as angle grinder and electric drill through M14 threaded interface. Ensure concentricity after tightening to avoid shaking during high-speed rotation.

 

Working principle: After the tool is powered on, the steel wire cup brush generates centrifugal force at a high speed (usually up to 8,000 - 12,000 revolutions per minute when combined with an angle grinder). The steel wire bundles expand radially and contact the surface through rigid friction to peel off impurities or polish them.

 

Operation points:

Wear protective gloves and goggles to avoid splashing steel wires;

Keep the tool at an inclined angle of 15°-30° to the surface and move it at a constant speed to prevent local over-polishing.

 

 

3.precautions

Material matching: Steel wire has high hardness and should not be used on soft metal surfaces such as aluminum alloy and copper to prevent scratches;

Speed control: Adjust the speed according to the surface hardness. High speed can be used for hard metals (such as carbon steel), and low speed for soft materials;

Safety protection: Maintain ventilation during operation to avoid inhaling metal dust. It is recommended to equip a dustproof mask for long-term use.
