This flap disc is designed for versatile use on various types of metals and materials.

Based on the specifications shown in the image and the characteristics of zirconia discs, here are the compatible metals:

1. Ferrous Metals (most common)
Stainless Steel: Ideal because zirconia is heat-resistant and does not contaminate stainless steel.
Carbon Steel / Mild Steel: Very effective for aggressive grinding and deburring.
Cast Iron: Suitable for cleaning castings.
Iron: Standard use for rust removal.

2. Non-ferrous Metals and Hard Alloys
Aluminum: Can be used, although care should be taken to prevent the disc from clogging quickly.
Titanium and Nickel Alloys: The hardness of zirconia allows it to be used on these very tough metals.

3. Other Materials (listed on the packaging)
Plastic: For sanding thick surfaces. Wood: For coarse sanding or shaping.
