Mini mold polishing machine: A small handheld electric/pneumatic tool that drives the polishing head through high-speed rotation (usually 10,000 - 30,000 RPM). It is used for fine polishing, engraving, deburring and other operations, suitable for narrow spaces or precision part processing.

Tool maintenance and adjustment:

Tighten/loosen the grinder chuck nut and replace the grinding head with different specifications;

Adjust the sander speed knob (if present) or remove the housing for internal cleaning.

Material and shape adaptation:

Air supply/power supply connection:

If it is a pneumatic polisher, the connector is used to connect the air pipe (adapted to the 1/4-inch quick-plug interface);

Fine polishing of the mold:

A 3mm silicon carbide grinding head carves mold patterns and trims the parting surface of the injection mold, and a 6mm aluminum oxide grinding head removes mold burrs to ensure smooth demoulding of parts;

 

Deburring of metal parts:

Use a cylindrical grinding head to polish the edges of gears and the piercing burrs of sheet metal parts to avoid scratching the sealing rings or circuit boards that are subsequently assembled.

 

(2) Jewelry and handicrafts processing

Jewelry production:

A 3mm rubber grinding head polishes the surface of silver ornaments, and a 6mm diamond grinding head cuts gemstone raw materials such as agate and jade. The fine control of the mini polishing machine is suitable for processing small pieces such as rings and pendants;

 

Wood carving and root carving:

Use a conical grinding head to carve the wood texture, and a silicon carbide grinding head to trim the bark residue to create a delicate handicraft surface.

Engine parts repair:

Alumina grinding head polishes carbon deposits on the cylinder head and trims the threaded holes of the spark plug. A 6mm grinding head quickly removes welding spatter on the exhaust pipe;

 

Car interior modifications:

Grind the edges of plastic interior parts (such as the burrs after cutting the central control panel), and use a polishing head to improve the surface finish to meet personalized modification needs.

Circuit board processing:

The 3mm grinding head carefully polishes excess resin around the circuit board pad, or trims the cut edge of the PCB board to avoid the risk of short circuit;

 

Mobile phone shell renovation:

Use a fine-grained grinding head to remove the scratches on the metal middle frame of the mobile phone, and use polishing paste to restore the mirror effect.

 

4. Usage process and safety points

1. operational flow

Install the grinding head: Use a manual wrench to loosen the chuck, insert the grinding head and tighten it to ensure no shaking;

Connecting power: Pneumatic models are connected to 6-8bar air sources, and electric models are plugged in;

Debugging speed: Starting from low speed (10000RPM), gradually increasing according to the polishing material;

Operation: Hold the polishing machine in hand, maintain an angle of 15°-30° with the workpiece, and move it at a constant speed to avoid local overheating.

 

2. safety precautions

Protective equipment: Wear goggles (to prevent abrasive splashing), dust mask (when polishing metal/stone), and non-slip gloves;

Speed limit: It is forbidden to exceed the maximum speed marked on the grinding head (for example, alumina grinding head is usually ≤25000RPM) to avoid rupturing and injuring people;

Heat dissipation management: Continuous operation shall not exceed 20 minutes. Lubricating oil can be dropped to cool down when metal polishing to prevent annealing failure of the grinding head.
