1. Typical application scenarios and uses

 

(1) Metal material cutting

Steel and pipe processing

Cut carbon steel circular pipes with a diameter of ≤40mm and steel plates with a thickness of 2 mm. The thickness of 1.2 mm can reduce burr cuts and facilitate subsequent welding (such as wrought iron guardrails and shelf production);

Cutting aluminum alloy door and window profiles (thickness ≤3mm), ultra-thin cutting pieces reduce the risk of deformation of the profiles, and the incision does not require secondary polishing.

 

Metal product repair

Remove rusty bolts and welding spots (such as car chassis guard fixtures), and rotate at a high speed of 12200 RPM can quickly cut off metal, which is 10 times more efficient than a manual saw.

 

(2) Stone and tile processing

Home decoration tile cutting

Cut ceramic tiles below 600×600mm (thickness ≤10mm), and the thickness of 1.2 mm can accurately control the cutting line, suitable for local cutting of kitchen and bathroom walls (such as switch holes, floor leaks);

Plastic model processing

Cut ABS plastic plates to make the model base, rotate at high speed to avoid plastic melting and sticking to the knife, and the accuracy of 1.2mm is suitable for detailed processing of models with a ratio below 1:100.

 

(4) Construction and decoration assistance

Wall/floor grooving

Cut wire grooves with a width of 12mm and a depth of 30mm (used for pre-embedding of wires) on lightweight brick walls (such as aerated blocks). The 1.2 mm cutting piece can accurately control the groove width and reduce wall damage;

 

Demolition of old decoration

Cutting off the tile adhesive and wooden floor keel, the speed of 12200 RPM can quickly break the old decoration layer, which is more efficient and controllable than hammering with a hammer.

 

 

2. Use safety and precautions

It must be installed on a 125mm angle grinder to ensure that the diameter of the cutting blade matches the diameter of the shaft (usually 16mm). After tightening the nut, it must idle for 3 seconds. Make sure there is no shaking before working.

Wear goggles, dust mask (when cutting stone/metal), and anti-cut gloves, and stand away from the rotating surface of the cutting blade to prevent debris from splashing or material damage.

 

operation specifications

During cutting, keep the angle grinder perpendicular to the material and advance it at a constant speed (metal cutting speed ≤50mm/s) to avoid excessive force causing the cutting plate to become stuck or broken;

It is forbidden to cut materials that exceed 3 times the thickness of the cutting piece (for example, it is not recommended to cut steel plates above 4mm for a 1.2 mm cutting piece) to prevent overload and heating.
