Chain saw cutting principle: Use the high-speed circular motion of the saw teeth on the chain to cut fiber materials such as wood and bamboo in a straight or curved manner. It is suitable for scenes such as cutting, cutting, and pruning.

1. Guide length: 4 inches (about 100mm)

Meaning: The guide plate is a metal plate that supports the movement of the chain. The 4-inch guide plate is an ultra-short guide plate (the common electric chain saw guide plate is 10-20 inches).

 

Scope of application:

Cutting wood with a diameter of ≤100mm (such as branches, small logs);

Suitable for operations in narrow spaces (such as indoor carpentry, balcony t*), or small size cutting that requires precise control.

 

2. No-load speed: 4000r/min

Meaning: The no-load speed of the chain drive motor, 4000r/min with a chain speed of 7m/s, is a standard configuration for small chain saws.

 

Cutting efficiency:

Quickly cut soft wood (such as pine and fir), and cut wood with a diameter of 50mm about 2-3 times per minute;

Suitable for light felling or pruning, but not suitable for high-intensity work on hardwoods (such as oak and walnut).

 

3. Chain speed: 7m/s

Meaning: The linear speed of the chain running on the guide plate, 7m/s belongs to the medium and low speed (the speed of large chain saws can reach 10-15m/s).

Low speed reduces operating risks and is suitable for novices or home users;

3.precautions for use

Chain maintenance:

Check the tension of the chain before operation (it is advisable to press the middle of the chain with your fingers to sink 5-10mm);

Apply chain oil regularly to prevent chain breakage caused by dry wear.

 

Cutting safety:

Wear non-slip gloves, goggles and earplugs (the chain is noisy);

It is forbidden to cut non-wood materials such as metal and masonry to avoid cracking of chains.

 

Load limit:

It is strictly prohibited to cut wood that exceeds the length of the guide plate (for example, a 4-inch guide plate is not suitable for logs with a diameter of> 100mm);

The continuous operation time should not exceed 20 minutes to prevent the motor from overheating (especially in high temperature environments in summer).

 

Storage requirements:

Before long-term storage, clean chain debris and apply anti-rust oil to avoid rust on the guide plate in a humid environment.
